What is the best Webbrowser
« on: February 09, 2008, 04:25:50 pm »
Yeah, well everyone knows about Internet Explorer, Mozilla and netscape, and some of us knows about Opera and safari(mac)... what i want to discuss is not how fast they work or they layout, but how they read HTML javascripts and php. In the beginning before i started webdesign, i though Internet Explorer was okay, but not as good as Mozilla because it looked neater etc. but when i began webdesign and programing, i started to realise how stupid the fact that Internet Explorers coding systems is filled with flaws that neither Mozilla or Opera have, not even old Netscape have those flaws, i mean... blah, what do ya think? Also please post what webbrowser you use. cause i am trying to use codes that works flawless in all webbrowsers.

Firefox if you use extensions and/or prefer open source, Opera if you don't. K-Meleon is cool too.

I know very little about web design, so I can't answer your question.

However, I use Firefox because of its extreme customization options and (at least for me) fast page loading. I love the numerous themes and extensions and how I can make the browser just right for me.

I like Firefox best, honestly. It's fast, has a clean interface (Firefox 3 beta's interface is awesome too, if glitchy), and I couldn't live without my "Gmail Notifier" extension (and to a lesser extent, my "My Image Here" extension).

FireFox for browsing, but if I know a download may take a VERY long time, I'll use opera for it's download manager.
IE crashes on me...a lot...I don't use it.

Firefox, it just doesn't !@#$%. IE always comes up with 'OMFG something went wrong lol and we gotta shut down EVERYTHING! OMFGWTFKTHXBYELOL' - or something. Firefox just loads a page without bullshitting all the time.

Oh, and I like the tabs.

I use Firefox, even though I originally got it because it was the only was to make the DSR PMs work, things just run better on it, so I kept using it over IE.

I go with FireFox now. I thought it was stupid before until I tried it. Internet Explorer was bad for me. I think I made the right choice.

Agreed. I mean, it'd be okay if it just closed IE down and that was it. But it seems to close the whole damn computer down. You have to restart to open IE again, and you have to restart to make browsing files with the standard explorer tolerable.

Seriously, get firefox right now. No other browser can compete. And with adblock, its godly.

So what! I wanna get out! 'Cos there's so much out there! So many different people, living different lives! Incredibly good guys, bad guys... Folks completely different from us! It's one huge melting pot! See, it's not about success, dying in the streets, who's better, who's not! I just want to be a part of it! I realized that even if I've no connections, no talent, even if I'm one big loser, I want to use my hands and feet to think and move, to shape my own life! We can just die here or we can try, see what we've got!

Have I said
FIREFOX
yet?

Well, get Firefox now if you're still using IE. It's faster, safer so better.
Don't forget to download the addons: adBlock, noScript, Web Developer, foxycast and foxyproxy!

When that happened to me restarting the PC brought it all back :P That only failed once, and I soon googled the solution XD

I use Internet Explorer 7. I never have any problems with it, so I don't see a reason for switching to FireFox.
