Is anyone going to Anime Central 2009 in Chicago this week? Im vacationing in Chicago this week and staying with family/friends and will be going to ACen on Friday and Saturday. My sis is working on my costume this week and its going to be amazing. I'll be cosplaying as Yuna, Summoner costume from FFX.

If it is this immediate week, then I don't be able to likely go because I either have finals or I'll be tired from taking finals. However, yeah, I'm in DeKalb which isn't far from there and I think either my friend Leah or Cat is going; Leah's the one into cosplay. If I learn that she is going for sure I'll make sure to let you know so you can say hi and creep her out because the two of you don't know each other personally though, lol.

Ironically the name of my ex is Leah.

Oh and dont forget da Cubs. I was at the game today. They lost, but it was a !@#$% awesome game anyways. GO CUBBIES! :P

On Topic, Yes I'll get pictures, and im sure I'll get constantly stopped for pictures due to the work my sis put into this costume. it is literally full of win.

My costume is almost done! *bouncy bouncy bouncy* I cant wait till this Friday, I'm going to have a blast at this Con.

No one else going? Surely theres gotta be some Illinois ZFGCers into Cons and Anime :P

Yay ACen =D I'm going with my friends after my AP test ^_^ I'm not really cosplaying, but i'll be wearing a formal kimono, swords and all just for the fun of it. ACen is actually not in Chicago, it's in Rosemont which is a suburban area less than an hour away from Chicago but yeah it should be lots o' fun :D

.........And there were at least 5 these last two days, and I was one of them. I just got back from ACen Day 2. Im not going tomorrow because my flight leaves for home very early. I'll post my pictures i took in this thread when I've settled back at home either tomorrow night late, or when I get off work Monday afternoon.

ACen was really fun! I got back today in the afternoon and I was so damn tired I collapsed on my bed for a good 7 hour nap.. Sadly I didn't go to any of the panels at the convention but the masquerade (for the cosplay/skit) and the Soap Bubble rave was freaking awesome! Oh and I got to hug pedo bear! :D

I look retarded in the pic though.. ~__~; I need my friends to send me pics of me and them from ACen but yeah it was all fun. =D
