araknidkid: I'm not exactly sure what telnet is, but I'm pretty sure it just connected to the server "towel.blinkenlights.nl" where the Ascii Star Wars was hosted.

The IPv6 one is better; has color on displays that can support it.

Ahhh... haven't watched it in years.  I know they've added new scenes since then.  Didn't know they displayed that in the beginning now.
