@dugolas: I have not played adventure. as i said i do not like the atari so i have no need to own one. And yes i understand that it is supposed to be stupid.

Is it possible to compine the two just wondering because i am learning C# and so far i found it alot easier than C++ (Well duh) and i felt that once i am done experimenting with Console and Forms i may start a game in C#. So is this possible?

excuse my lack of enthusiasm but this just seems kinda stupid i mean if you stick to strickly atari style graphics it will just be a bunch of blobs on the screen. i dislike the atari for that reason among others. if you want to go with a primitive style go with NES style so we can diferentiate characters and such.

start with simple console programs like this one here:

}

then work your way up and use a graphics API like Allegro (It's the easiest one that i know) get a team started up also so you are not taking the brunt of the work your self.

OF Course ogg is the better most game companies use it (id Software for one) they also use .wavs for smaller files (poking around in Quake  series pak files i found this out *hugs pakscape*)

Hey i thought that i should post this althought it does not have any major engines as of yet. It is going to be an RPG style game but it does not have any real story line (it is just to test my knowledge of GML)
