Rise of the Shadows - 2D MMORPG (Zelda Style)

Hello,

I want to present you the first big project of my team 'Neo Pictures'.
The game is called 'Rise of the Shadows', it is a 2D MMORPG in Zelda Style and is programmed in C++.

At the beginning the server will support 150 players, but later it will be much more.
The game support different languages and the Logitech G-15 keyboard.
You must solve quest and beat monsters and so on^^

Temponary I rewrite the client and the server.

	Maybe^^ but we use the graphics only for the maps, all the other things are custom graphics. Furthermore the story and gameplay will be much different, so I don`t thing its a zelda game Logged

Reputation: +0/-0 Offline Gender: Posts: 342	If it's not a Zelda game, it shouldn't use Zelda graphics...they're misleading. There's plenty of other graphic styles you could go for...the Zelda graphics are very distinct of Zelda games though. Other than that...looks good so far. Logged

	The problem of a zelda mmorpg is, that all player will look like the other, ok you can change the color but you have e.g. 20 players who are zoras or link. I think that would be boring. « Last Edit: December 26, 2006, 09:13:49 am by Hallomann » Logged
