Eternal Arrow - New Demo!
« on: August 24, 2006, 10:20:25 pm »
Hey, y'all! It's me  again with another demo of my 2D action/adventure game--- Eternal Arrow.
There are still a few (very important) things that are missing from the game:
Health engine
HUD
Storyline
Speech Engine
Here's the link:

I accept any and all constructive criticism. Thanks!!!

Here are a few screenshots:

Could you please post some screens of the game, please?
I avaliate a game by the screens, and rarelly download a demo...
And I think lots of people don't like to download a demo without seeing any screenshot... (Look at some WIP posts in GMCommunity to get some examples xP)
Thanks ;)

It's not looking very well: Each sprite separately looks good, but when you put them together in a screenshot, it looks very disproportional. For instance, the building, the house and the tree seem to be from a side-scrolling game, while the boy and the floor look fine in a superior view game. If you change the shadow effects off the tree and add some depth to the house and the building, it'll look much nicer.
