Post by: MemoreX on May 21, 2006, 09:26:23 pm
I tryed the TRW's text engine but when I run it, a message of error appear. Unfortunatly, my screen resolution is too small for see the end of the message... I'm using Game Maker 6.1. Do I have to download Game Maker 6.0 or there's a solution?

IIRC, you need to go to Global Game Settings and select "Treat uninitialized variables as 0" for that engine to work. Either that or find a way to fix the problem through altering some code, which I would recommend, because using that option often leads to more problems. :P

Any Game Maker user who uses "treat uninitialized variables as 0" for anything other than testing purposes deserves the unterminating hell it brings upon the game making process.
