Many years ago, there was a dwindling kingdom known as Hyrule. Torn apart by war and fear, Hyrule has lost the splendor and magic it once had. The very lifeblood of this shallow husk was the Triforce, an ancient power so great, it could grant the desires of all who wielded it. So great was its power, that it was sought after by many villains. The most fearsome of these was Ganon, more commonly known as the Prince of Darkness. One day, he attacked Hyrule Castle, and snatched the Triforce of Power, wasting little time in abusing its magical properties. Princess Zelda, desperate to a point of near insanity, shattered the Triforce of Wisdom into 8 pieces, scattering them across the
barren shoreline known as Lesser Hyrule. Meanwhile, Zelda's trusted servant Impa, guided by a premonition of endless chaos, found a Pichu named Link, whose veins held the lines of many
heroes who have fought for Hyrule in ages long past. The time has come. The battle for Hyrule has begun.
