Huge update!

It's been a while since I've said much and some of you may think I've given up... but the exact opposite!
The games name may change, the story is 100% finished and best of all is that the game is almost finished!
Regarding the story I am sure some aspects may change but it's solid and has an interesting plot and plenty of playability :3
Just wait until I add some side quests.
Networking is still on the back-burner as I have always wanted to play Ocarina of Time with someone else... but it's a very gray area as of now.
The dialog for characters is NOW being worked on as I have a solid story that may have some minor or even some big changes along the way.
To ensure the story is as fun as the game is I am testing it out in RPG Maker VX.
As a test and final for the story elements it's not very playable as it is scene by scene or a cinema to get the story along.
Since I'm having issues with the trial since I lack a connection on my computer I can't get the trial so I've gone with Game Maker for now to get the story done.
Steps before the game is golden and released officially:
- Iron out the story and proof-read it for any errors or plot holes.
- Create the entire story in Game Maker or RPG Maker as a 'movie' game which may not be playable to further get the game going and also find out what needs to stay, be added or even removed/modified.
- Triple check all the above to make the game ready for asset importing and creation.
- Fix Links biped, animations and possibly re-rip him(I doubt it) from OoT if necessary.
- Rip Navi.
- Finish ripping Saria.
- Finish male Zora biped for animations.
- Create a female Zora
- Rip all Kokiri Children.
- Create a new Hyrule Castle Town to replace the OoT version (the town is not the same as OoT and has changed tremendously)
- Finish ripping Kokiri Forest.
- Finish ripping Hyrule Field and heavily change it.
- Create new original characters specifically for this game.
- Restore Zoras River and Domain, Zoras Fountain will not make it.
Without spoiling the game for you all I will say that you can roughly expect a beta trailer and actual game within 2, 3 or 4 months :3
It heavily depends on how things go plus I don't have an online connection for my computer yet.
I may wind up creating tons of quests to spice the game up too but that's pushing it :3
Following the traditional Zelda formula to meet the games theme I will be making a female version of Link along with modified voice work :3
I roughly estimate a beta of the actual game by 6/17/2010 or possibly somewhat earlier.
Don't count on it but I'm saying the games near finished because the storyline and plot are 99% finished, just some polishing up to do and off to the hard part... assets and programming.
