Hasn't this been discussed before? Hasn't there already been a multitude of topics about this kind of stuff?
EDIT: Some topics discussing the future of ZFGC

The whole point is that this is a fan gaming website. Zelda
Fan Game Central. It doesn't matter whether you drop the Zelda or change it to a website - the aspect of this site that makes it what it is is the
fan gaming. And with pretty much no more fan games being developed - I mean, yes, there are some games being developed, but the majority don't have updates, demos, etc. - you're going to have to find a way to get quality fan games churned out, or you may have to change the emphasis away from fan gaming. Kind of sad - but it's true. Look at the ratio of completed fan games to dead fan games; it's pretty pathetic, really. People are going to want to see awesome fan games, not post in spam or talk about random BS in other boards; people can do that on Gamefaqs, or 4chan, or the Nintendo forums.
If you want to kickstart development, you need spriters, coders, musicians, etc. who are great at what they do. Few of those people exist, here. Yes, people can do these things - but when you have 100 walking demos that are of poor quality, rather than merely not attracting people, it actually can have the opposite effect and repulse people.
Regarding the ZFGCCP, I think the staff's handling that has been poor and unprofessional, but that's another story. At least I can understand their decision.
