My first 3 or 4 playthroughs, I would always just burn him to death over and over with Din's Fire. Course, before starting, you had to bring a green potion to replenish your magic halfway through the fight. Sure, it was !@#$% cheap, but Dark Link scared me XD

After I got a little older and did my first No Health Expansion playthrough(no collecting Heart containers, pieces, or fairys), I realized Dark Link has the same amount of health as you do. This was the first time I fought him fairly, using the sword, I think. This is a really fun battle. I kind of regret always beating him so cheaply on my previous playthroughs, now.

I think you attack him without Z-targeting. If you stab forward he jumps on the sword.

I just stabbed wildly until he died.

Whenever i tried to use the hammer he just blocked it.

That never quite worked for me x_x. he would always just stab at me real quick before I could hit him

That worked for me, but the camera would confuse the hell outta me cause it wouldn't stay focused on the enemy.

Biggoron's sword, more often than not. Getting the sword was one of the first things I do once getting Adult Link, and from there on out, I only switch to the Master Sword to finish off Ganon.

Other than that, I Din's Fire/Megaton Hammer'd him once.

Din's Fire if I had enough magic. Other than that, just regular sword attacks as well as the Spin Attack.

Biggoron's sword, I love the combat system in all Zelda 3D games, the Z/L-Targetting makes it percfect.

I don't use magic or other thing, I fight with sword, when strikes, I block, when he jumps toward me, I dodge and then attack.

I wish they had a Dark-Link in Twilight Princess... and he could have all the hidden skills you do. It would be difficult but fun.
