Sweet, so the invites are more likely to go through than the word "nomination" suggests! :)

Yeah and now I have some invites too if you need them.  XD

gen⋅er⋅al  -  /ˈdʒɛnərəl/ - [jen-er-uhl] -adjective.
considering or dealing with overall characteristics, universal aspects, or important elements, esp. without considering all details or specific aspects

The name General Vector was not referring to the military rank, but the usage which coincides with "generic". It was a pun on the fact that a lot of characters in the past were quick little 5 minute vector graphics with a cheesy story attached to them. ;)

Wow nobody understood that? I guess I just thought it was obvious. XD

Dunno if it's really a congrats situation,

As for the congrats I was referring to the whole completion of a game which is an accomplishment in my opinion.

Have you downloaded and played the demo?  It is no simple "God of War clone" this game is epic. I love both the possible weapons and the gameplay is immersive and just plain fun.   This is the first demo in a long time I actually played more than once!!  I can't wait to own it!!

The funny thing is by Nintendo doing this it has given the movie even more of a cult like following.  LOL it is funny how much the average person wants something more when you tell them they can't have it. XD

and lovin' it!!

Not me :(

I'm at the end and the game is just so damned......... identical to PH. I'm continuously disappointed with the bosses and puzzles in the game :\

Yeah the main storyline itself is quite predictable, but I do enjoy some of the sidequest and the treasure hunting.

I could help some, but no guarantees as to how quickly as I am on a tentative work schedule right now, but for the time being I have some free time on my hands, but if you want to wait for someone more guaranteed on their availability that is fine.

It was a decent movie, but I had to stifle a laugh when towards the end when the girl picked Jake up and called him "My Jake" LOL The size difference was insane.  Als0, it was the first movie I saw with Michelle Rodriguez in it where I actually didn't want her character to die. So kudos Michelle.

Niek, I have learned not to listen to a single word you say. ^_^ (please take no offense)  XD

He's right though, and perhaps you should set aside your desire for a Zelda film to be completed to examine this a bit further.

The trailer does not say "Zelda" at all other than the characters. It comes across as an entirely unoriginal, badly made fantasy flick. I know I say "badly made" when referring to an independent film, I should be more lenient, etc etc...but I know because I AM a student filmmaker that you can do far better than this on their budget. It all looks so plasticy and ridiculous.

Just because you can do something does not mean you should. I'll still watch the final film, more than likely, but like any other movie with a shitty looking trailer, my expectations are not too high.

Or maybe you should examine it more.  Their website answer many of these issues you bring especially if you peruse the forums.

They did not include "Zelda" in the title simply out of respect for the copyright that comes along with using that name.  They had planned to, and have shown it in local theaters around the US and the theaters were more likely to allow them to show the movie without Zelda in the title.

As to the unoriginality this is by no means an exact copy of the storyline in OOT, yes it is loosely based on that storyline, but if you are gonna make a decent Zelda fan film why not use the best storyline that the creators have given.

I will reserve my opinion of the film until I see the whole thing on Dailymotion.com on the 14th, but by all means if you are going to judge the film now before you see it. At least do them the justice of reading the info on their site.  It is obvious a lot of work has gone into this, and I will for one give it the chance it deserves.   This is the attitude I try to approach all independent films with, and without it a good few of good films are missed, yes a lot of bad films are watched, but that is a meager sacrifice.

Actually that was a typo; my bad lol

Problem with making posts at work; I can't focus entirely on the post without having people at the desk. I actually meant to say that entries will be made public for viewing before 12/1/09, but I got caught off guard in the middle of my train of thought; I'll fix that.

LOL I know the feeling glad to have it cleared up.  XD
