Title: [Submission] Generic Gerudo
Post by: BlazeBigBang on July 18, 2012, 05:03:42 pm
I based myself on Sitrutin (or however is written) to do this. I used as base the Four Swords Adventure Gerudo.

The FSA style doesn't really mix well with MC.

The FSA style doesn't really mix well with MC.

That's why I use the sprite as base.

You used it as a base because it wouldn't mix well?

Because is the only base sprite I have.

It's best to sprite using a reference image not a base, since there isn't a MC base you'll have to figure it out on your own.

I used as reference Sitrutin's Gerudo, and modified all the colors of the Gerudo sprite.

Using a reference does not mean to edit a existing sprite, but to make one while looking at an image(Not a sprite) and translating it into the style your using.

It's not bad, but it doesn't fit the style.

Maybe you should use Din from MC as a base, she kinda look like a gerudo already.

It might help you.

Seems like you're going in the right direction. I'm iffy about the head being so big but that's just a first glance. Maybe change it up to allow for more detail on the face?

It looks like she's not wearing a shirt! Blaze, there are children around! Inappropriate!
:p

Anyway, I've never liked the Din sprite because her hair was so big. Maybe make it smaller so it looks more original?

I couldn't find the color I needed. This is as much as I can do, and make it look almost good. The hair is giving me a lot of trouble. I'll keep trying, anyway.
