MC Recolor sprites

Here's the two standard leever sprites from MC, a yellow recolor I plan on giving bigger teeth and an enlarged Boss that's still WIP.
This being my first try messing with sprites I thought I' see what other people thought of them.

So, you recolored a regular sprite.  While it's good to start somewhere, it's not an edit nor is it custom.  It is a recolor.

I know it's just a recolor at the moment, but I plan on making the teeth bigger and by the time I'm done, hopping that the finished boss will look nothing like this one.

Please don't ever save images as bitmap, png or go home. Other than that great start, keep it up.

It's bulky, and not-web-friendly. It takes longer to load than other formats (if it even loads at all).

In paint, you can simply click the dropdown, and choose ".png". It's a superior format :P

and the filesize for PNG is smaller too.
