Isn't it sick how something horrible like women getting kidnapped has been turned into entertainment? Long story short, it's not really horrible unless the game is based on actual events in which people lost their lives or something (like a WWII game), and only then if it portrays the event in a way that belittles the lives lost during said event somehow.

War Games are old and boring now. Way too many of them.

I'm not talking about actual War either. I mean all these games that involve wars of some kind and stuff. I'm so sick of seeing them... come up with something original for once.

As for are they sick? Not really.
What about other games that include killing and such? Same could be said for them.

To be fair if war games are sick because of people dying then any game is sick.
You try to play a game nowadays and see if someone dies, the chances are someone does.
I know you mean because war is a terrible thing, we can all agree but I don't think the games are sick.
They are just games.

They're alright. If only they didn't make so many so frequently.

This also, there is a new war game literally every week.
It gets annoying because I love playing war games and I can't buy em all.
They come out too damn fast.

Were those movies really great entertainment though?  (I'm guessing not, but I haven't seen any of them.)

I don't see a problem with them. Really, they're no more "sick" than every other game out there that involves guns and virtual death. I do agree with the quip about there being too many, though. I had an idea a few nights ago about a game that was a blend of Steampunk, WW1, WW2, and pretty much any fantasy RPG rolled into one. Think about it: you're a German soldier from WW1 scaling a steampunk castle with an M1 Grand rifle battling armor clad warriors. Once you're at the top, a Siege Troll lumbers by, and the armor clad warriors on top start firing arrows at you.

!@#$%, I'd buy it.

War games are great fun, just like any video game can be. War happens all the time, the games are suppose to be fun. I doubt many of the soldiers care that we don't know what it's like to be in a real war while we play a game.

War has been entertainment, long before video games, long before movies. It dates back to the roman times, they battled for entertainment all the time.. it was sport to them. A lot of other cultures would hold war games too..

Actually, it pre-dates roman things.. I think every culture and every society has done it, perhaps it's human nature to enjoy war?
