I just watched Battle Royale 2 on Canal Plus Acción. I was horrified.
Shuya is a combination between Peterpanand the asain Rambo. Nice job rapin one of my favorite books, assholes.

Just ignore the 2nd and stick with the 1st, since it's so brilliant.


I haven't actually seen the 2nd though, is it really so bad?

It has nothing to do with the book DX
Shuya goes on to start a terrorist organization which declares war on all adults. It´s like Peter Pan with guns sometimes.

BR kicks ass though.  I haven't seen the second but the first is wonderful.  Maybe I should read the book.

I actually thought that Battle Royale two was the second part of the same story, and that thy had split the book into two movies, because the book is so massive (I think it´s over 700 pages long). I doubt they got everything into the movie. Wikipedia tld me that they got rd of the epic SUV shootout at the end. Which is !@#$%, because when I was reading it was just thinking "God damn I wann see this on sreen!".
