Cute idea, I like the thought of giving Navi some credits.

I don't know if anyone else has actually asked, instead of just bashing you for it, but is the reason why you decided to choose Vaati and the MC-bosses that there are no MC-syled versions of the OoT bosses and Ganondorf? -You are a good programmer but doens't really sprite yourself?

Because, you know, I think we all are interested in this game, and unless you want to do it all by yourself I am pretty sure that you can ask some of the great spriters on ZFGC for support.
I think we all want both your re-imagined version and Xfixiums FSA version of Ocarina of Time to be finished evenyually, but all projects die down if there aren't enough people and dedication on board.

Anyway, good luck!

I just wanted to say that your map designing skills aren't half bad. I can't tell you how many times I've seen poor map design. It's looking pretty good and it's got me wondering how it feels. I'll keep my eye on this, that's for sure.

Also, I agree with the others that calling it OoT Re-imagined is not accurate. You've gotta AT LEAST have Ganondorf. Maybe you should rename it to Minish Cap Re-imagined, unless you are dead set on it being an OoT re-imagining. But if it's truly going to be a re-imagining of the OoT then you MUST have Ganondorf. I would even suggest that you keep a few other elements, such as the races of Gorons and Zoras, and maybe even a lot of the same areas, though you'd only keep the names of the areas and you could change the look of them completely. Also, you're going to have the Ocarina of Time in it, right? That would be another thing you'd have to have in it. Through you could make it's functionality different, allowing Link to travel through time differently by playing songs or something. But I'm guessing that you've already got some idea on what you want to do with that anyway.

Well, that's just my 3 cents. Good luck on the game, and have fun making it! ^,^ !

No one has a demo for this.  He has yet to provide any demos.  Only screen shots have been provided.  He is probably waiting to get content into his engine before posting any kind of demo.

There should be some Gannondorf sprites in TMC style somewhere around.  I have one but I edited it heavily, that is if you want it still, you want it.  I will find the original, and along with the edited version and post it up here later.

if you need tiles check in the graphics section, I have posted some nice ones that I had sitting around my pc.

As for your project it is looking good :D, I am LTTP style type of guy, but now TMC style fangames all over ZFGC.

OK zfgc the project will no longer be could Ocarina of Time Re-imagined, the projects has gone through a lot of changes and will now be a mix of all my favorite dungons and locations from all the zelda games.
the game will play out like the original zelda game on the nes, you will be left alone to explore the whole of hyrule and find the dungons for you self in any way you like to find all the missing triforce pieces.

here's a little list of some locations in the game -

lost woods (OoT)
Kakariko village (alttp)
Kokiri Forest (OoT)

here a  little demo for my version of kokiri forest in generations -

Might I suggest a few locations? (I decided to suggest locations from games other than ST, OoT and Lttp)

-Death Mountain from LoZ
-Temple of Zelda from AoL
-Tail Cave from LA
-Clock Town from MM
-Subrosia from OoS
-Ambi's Castle from OoA
-Ganon's Tower from WW (Come on who didn't see this coming?)
-Frozen Hyrule from FSA
-Dark Hyrule Castle from MC
-Palace of the Ocean King from PH
-Skyloft from SS

Hopefully you'll take these into consideration

I absolutely adore the heart sprites you have there. Also, the recoloring looks rather fitting... Any chances if you can explain why there's a magic bar on the shield? I like the HUD, by the way. :)

Your HUD is starting to crowd the screen a little, you might want to consider adjusting the layout somewhat.

Allowing the player to toggle the map portion should fix any crowding issue for those that want it.

I dunno, I think even without a toggle, the issue would be solved by spreading some HUD items to somewhere other than just the right side. It seems a bit peculiar to use up a whole side of the screen without utilising any other corners.
Unless there's a good reason, like a TWO PLAYER MODE!
