I didn't really leave; I actually check the forum out every now and then. But the thing is, I never have much to say about anything. Thereby no posts. :P
But I guess that pretty much counts as leaving, haha. XD

I enjoy games and art, and I think that's the reason I keep checking back. :P
Plus, gotta keep my eyes open. There will be more character competitions, I'm sure.

Lookin' good! :D
Though I've gotta admit, I liked his legs better in the first two pictures you posted on the previous page. I consantly found it hilarious that his legs were so short, and most of all, stuck to the bottom of his round body. :P

It's a great character design, and I think you should do something more with him. A game, a comic, a movie... whatever! As long as we get to see more of him. :P

Thanks.  :D

I'll check back every once in a while, but I won't post too much. I never find anything worth saying, except for this time around, where I actually had to post to get stuff done. :P
By the way, since I missed the competitions last year and the year before that, can anyone give me some information about the characters posted back then?

Thanks, you people digging The Nevermind. :D

I really never thought about it. Just like NeoGeo, I decided as the competition went along. I liked Mr. Wrong a lot, and thought it was a bit sad that he was fused around. :P
Yeah, that'll be what I think. Hane is a close second, and Chopik and Goroneater aren't far behind.

There were too many great characters. XD

25
Alright, congratulations, Hane! :D
Feels good that I lost against the winner of the entire competition, y'know. :P

26
As funny as it would be having a mixed character win, it also feels somewhat wrong. That rule has to be modified in some way next year, sorry. :P

Hane, Hane, happy pain.

Greetings, fellahs!

I made it pretty far with The Nevermind. I mean, Flood Division winner isn't bad at all, is it? :P
Though Hane finished me off with a roundhouse kick in the groin, I've definitely learned a thing or two about these kinds of competitions, and next year, I'll be back more powerful than ever. To be honest, The Nevermind was a last-minute submission, because I found out about the competition barely a day before all characters were supposed to be posted. :P
Fear me, haha!

I'm surprised by the amount of well-made characters as well; Chopik, Hane, Mr. Wrong, Ninja-Zombie, Fissure,  Cedris, Minish, Acolyte and more, much more. At first, I doubted I'd make it past the first round, but I did. Same with the second and third one, though I'd be pretty toasted if I was placed in the Inferno division. XD

Here it ends, then. There's only one round left, then bam! Compo settled! :D (to be honest, I can't wait till next year)
Good luck to Hane and Mr. Tommy Wrongkudan! And good-bye to me, perhaps, since I'm not much of a forum person and probably won't be very active on the boards... unless you make contests. I'll be on 'em like a bunch o' flies on a cow butt.

Like usually, remember to click the "Read more"-link for The Nevermind (and of course, for Hane) before voting. Otherwise, Goofy will be confused.

I wish us a good game, Hoff!

29
Mr. Tommy Wrongkudan, you're voted on. :D

Everyone else's pictures are cooler than mine. :P
Mr. Tommy Wrongkudan is "I am the terror who flaps in the night, mwehehehe..."
Fissure is "Grahargh! I am powerful, therefore I stand close to lava! Mwohohoho!"
Hane is "I am not afraid of lightning, I actually favor it, and so, I look really cool! Mwahahaha!"
And The Nevermind is like "WOHOO! I'm in the pool! :D"

31
We'd be pretty even, I'm sure. :)
Time will tell. Chopik is cool and original, Hane is cool and original. Either way, a worthy character will reach the final destination. I bet we'll all get our noses blown by Fissure / Wrongkudan. XD

It's okay. As much as I want to win this; even if I do... Next I have to face the Nevermind. o.o I don want to be pwnd like that. I want a good close last match. Like I know this will be. Good luck Nevermind! Good luck Hane
Don't talk rubbish, now.
¤ This match isn't settled yet. You might as well win; time will tell!
¤ I bet you won't get pwned if you move further. I think we'd be, if something, somewhat even in that fight. :)
Good luck, Chopik!

Thanks, fellah! Yeah, I'm glad to have made it this far. Thrilling stuff, this competition is. At first I didn't really care, then I got a little too carried away, perhaps. :P
I've made it further than I'd ever expect, and if I can make it further even, that'd be cool. :D

Thanks for the support, people!

This one seems pretty close. Thank you for voting, almost every one in the topic has complimented Chopik even if they voted Hane. Good luck Hane; May the best win. :D
Your character is indeed awesome as well, but there always comes a moment when you have to pick... sorry. :P

I'll guess I'll vote for Hane. A more interesting story, and well thought out. 8)

Thanks to you who voted for me, fellahs, and thanks to you who didn't, as well. More often the negative criticism gives you more knowledge about what can be done better, while the positive gives you the power to keep fighting.

I might not get any further from here on out, but I'm really happy with what I've got. Whether Chopik / Hane wins, I've still got this nice banner, I suppose. :P
Thanks, peeps. Don't forget to check out the character profile for The Nevermind; I've added five new abilities and one new artwork of The Nevermind.

Minish was great, in my opinion. I even pm:ed TanukiMario to ask him if he were to develop the character further even though he lost. :)
And Toaster Boy's actually good as well; I can see people voting for him, definitely.
Oh, and I think it's awesome if people get all into this competition. I never would've thought I'd be near interested enough to actually make a drawing like that.
I made my most simple kind of drawing (black outlines and two colours per space.), though, then focused on the storyline. :P
This is more advanced, for example: http://img444.imageshack.us/img444/4030/zapatosreffw7.jpg
Though the pose is quite odd... o_o

I gave people the wrong impression, I guess. :P

But yeah, I'm happy to get this far. I might as well have failed against Minish the Mouse, since I won with only two votes.

What picture? Who's CA? What's children?
Yeah, I'm calm. Should've put a smiley somewhere in there, but yeah. You just have to believe me, I guess. :P
Indeed, I might be boring. Realistically boring. But I brought the background of The Nevermind to certain heights, still being unnatural, but better described than the usual way of getting super powers (lollerskates at toxic waste).

I voted Hammerfecken, for your interest, but I guess that doesn't matter here. Just describes what I favor in a perfect character.

I feel sad deep inside.

It's one thing if I win because of better art, but it's another if he wins because he is a well-known member doing "funny" stuff. Get reasons for him to win, surely, Kame, but don't spread the sand to my eyes.
