Honestly, I think that we just need one set of smilies, but NOT the current link ones. They are too small. Maybe you could do a new Zelda set, .TakaM?

Too small?  They already increase the space between lines of text as they are.  It's a little tough to see the emotions, yes, but I've seen much worse, for instance a forum that had Midna-with-her-helmet emoticons, which didn't work well.  The helmet looked good, but after it was added on, there were only about 4 pixels left for the actual face, and the emote was still way too tall.

I have always hated how ZFGC's had like 6 sets of smilies, and always hated how they've been zelda themed.
they're too small and detailed, smilies need to be simple and easily readable

Maybe not big, but we need some emotes that are easy to tell the emotion, which is the whole point of emotes. And as .TakaM said, it wouldn't HAVE to be zelda themed, but Taka, I dont' like your current emotes, mostly because they make ": D" be laughing, which it should be. It's supposed to just be a smile with teeth.

Of all the smilies I've ever used, my favorites are the invision ones. Yours are a close second, TakaM, since they're similar.

Why not just have a quick little poll attached, and if the majority is for adding them add them? If not, then forget it.

I can't stand Zelda emotes either. They clutter everything up and seem unnatural.
