My last words of advice:
Relying on a single game engine is like relying on a bum to get you into a mansion... it just doesn't work.
Careful planning, research (a LOT of it) and dedication plus a lot of information is vital to ANY game.
Regardless if you use the most popular game engine and have a $2,000.00 budget to use, what if the engine is horrible and sucks to begin with?
That is the problem, people think there is a "do it for me" button when they do not even give things a try.
Most people who make games are usually people who play games but never fathom in MAKING a REAL game worth their while, this is a common trend and 99.9% of ANY project fails... hell I have NEVER seen a complete 2D or 3D game that is commercially completed for the fans by the fans for free... never.
It is a rare thing to do because most people lack any ambition or ideas, art and assets too, to do much of anything and rely on others to do it "for them."
I applaud your work but I saw this coming, I think this topic needs to bury itself in its own grave unfortunately as the author seems to show no interest in continuing the project at all.
In all, good work, but next time hopefully you have a story and other types of structure to hold the game together :3
