@SlimmyG; Update your drivers.

Hate to sound n00bish, but how?

EDIT: wait, think ive done it...

EDIT2: Nope, just got the same ones...

Intel on board graphics suck.  That's you're only problem.  They feed off your processor and make everything go slower.

Not very good...

that's it...You need a graphics card.  Wal-Mart is carrying the Nvidia GeForce PCI 6200 OC card for 30 bucks now, why don't you pick one up?

Processor: Exceptional
RAM: Passable

My guess is you're either using onboard graphics, or a PCI card.  I have an Nvidia Geforce 6200 PCI-e with 256 MB of Vram.  What's yours looking like?

2 things:

Why doesnt the fire or the fairy show up properly? Anyone know?

and what is that in the top left? It only appears when the map is on...(this isnt related to the texture pack, whereas the fire thing only happens with Rice plugin...)

I don't have those problems, save the "temple entrance" marker misplacement.  What are your system specs?  You may need to update drivers or something, but I need more info.

I'll pass on your love to the rest of the team.

 XD

When PJ 64 1.7 comes out, you can expect a full fledged MOD.  And the textures will be out in a few weeks in their entirety.

It looks horrible! bad choice of colors, and models.

...lol it's a texture repack; and you're a self proclaimed Nintendo fanboy who bashed Ninty's models XD
Nah they !@#$% the models up with those horrible textures.

What could we do to fix the textures for you?

Well they certainly didn't touch the polygons in any way.

It's just a retexture.  A MOD wouldn't be supported by the current release of PJ64.

I like the recent screenshots... I just wish Daedalus for the PSP could support these packs and run OoT at at least 55 fps...

BTW, is this compatible with the Master Quest version?

Yes, if you were to rename "The Legend of Zelda" in every texture in the pack with "Master Quest", they would be applied to the ROM.  However, the framerate in PJ 64 for MQ is atrocious.

Or, mix the two Link styles.

F**kin' A.

Hey, you should use the white tunic cheat to display his clothes properly.

It looks great, except... Link. His hair needs to be brown, and it annoys me that his mouth texture is all different than the others.

Would you like the patch that makes his hair and eyes, mouth, etc. normal?

Keep in mind that some of these textures are from the final pack that gets released in August.

The Legend of Zelda.zip

You may now download it.  You'll need the ROM (cannot provide), Project 64 v1.6 or higher, and the latest Rice Plugin for videos (G00gle them).  To patch the textures to your game:

1.) Go to the "Plugin" folder in Project 64's program files.
2.) Create a new folder that says "hires_textures"
3.) Create a folder that says "THE LEGEND OF ZELDA" inside the "hires_textures" folder.
5.) Place your textures inside "THE LEGEND OF ZELDA".
6.) Open PJ 64.
7.) Set Rice Plugin as your default video plugin.
8.) Open "Graphic Properties" in the tool properties.
9.) Uncheck "Hide Advanced Settings".
10.) Go to "Texture Filters".
11.) Check "Load high resolution textures if possible."
12.) Play the game.

I'm downloading it, I'll make a rapidshare for you guys once done.

HOLY CRAP 10kb/s.. Jesus !@#$% christ.

If you choose to open it instead of save it, it'll take like, 1 1/2 hours to get both.  The reason I say do that it that the server is unreliable.

You need to register, but it's worth it.
Really disagree with you there.
I hate it when forum staff hold their content hostage.

Not worth the time to register

Why not?  Username, password, confirm e-mail, done!  You get the download!  It takes all of 10 seconds longer than it takes to type a capctha and wait for a download spot.  I'd really like to Rapidshare with you guys, but Riguel rathers I not to keep the traffic flowing to the official project so people will download the full verison when it comes out...

And just so we're clear, THIS forum withholds downloads unless you register.  HA

Also, great name. It's a paradox! Your registered name is didn'twanttoregister! AWESOME!

If you think this is good, you should go the forum link.  The team's made miles of progress since the BETA, which is what you're seeing screenshots of.

Spreading the word about their project:

Which you may now download here, but keep in mind that it is incomplete, and the full version will only be avaliable on the site.

The Legend of Zelda.zip

Also, here is the regular Link pack that you can add if you don't like looking like the Fierce Deity:

He's promising a final pack by August, and he's been consistent so far, so keep your eyes open.

These picks are low res., so they don't capture what he's done here.
