Hello, everybody. My name is Djipi and I created the cel shaded MOD for Ocarina of Time. I would like to present to you my newest project, a 100% original fangame...


STORY

Link has a nightmare that Hyrule will be defeated. When he wakes, he decides to warn the Great Deku Tree of Hyrule's upcoming chaos. Why is evil approaching? What is the Skulltula's amulet? What is the secret of the Royal Family?

Only one who has played this game will know the truth.

I was thinking, hmmm that looks like Djipi's game...
then I went back and I was like, oh it is Djipi
good to see you here, first gotta give you props for the texture repack for oot

downloading your game, will update this post with my impressions once I've played it

Okay, I played up to the deku tree dungeon.
the main problem I have with this game (other than not speaking French) is the fact it's made in RPGmaker, I assume this is because you don't know any coding languages (like me).
Buuuut, there are tons of coders out there who would kill for someone to handle all the graphics, design, and all the music you've already got, so I'd recommend recruiting a talented coder or two (like me).
And thanks to your OOT re-texture you're relatively famous, so finding a coder wouldn't be hard.

So, best of luck Djipi, it's good to see you start a Zelda fangame considering you actually finished the retexture project

Mm, this is RPGMaker, isn't it? I'll give it a shot either way, screenshots look excellent. If you need somebody to check grammar for your English or something, I'd be happy to help you?

 I'll give you credit, that is one of the best looking 2d games I have ever seen. Did you model everything out, then render it in an angle that can be used as a sprite? Or is it all sprited?

Wow dude the way you rendered everything looks great (except for that MC Sprite in one screen). Anyways you should get some people to help you out with an English translation if you don't think your English is that good. Seriously though, you have my support.

Very attractive game you have there. Although I have to say the story is very vague and to me at least, uninteresting at the moment... Some pointers: it seems too cliche, the whole dream thing has been done millions of times, the grammar is not very good on the story, e.g. Hyrule is 'defeated' ... a place cannot be defeated like a person, unless you are talking about a nation, but otherwise it doesn't sound right, man... I must sound really annoying now, but on a brighter tone, the game looks incredible and should be very fun to play. Good Luck. XD

Looks pretty stunning, actually. Only problem with the demo was that I couldn't understand french, so I didn't understand a thing :D.

Um... wait, what? Do you want me to correct the grammar in those strings or do you just want me to look at them for some reason? If you want the grammar corrected:

Aha! So you finally decided to show up here! Well as I've said previously on the french Solarus forums, you should really try to improve the gameplay of your game, and RPGMaker XP just won't do it. As .TakaM suggested, switch over to Game Maker (at the very least) and get help from some of the coders around here.

I will also re ask you this, would you like me to translate the game in English?

RPG MAKER XP is a huge improvement over RM2K3. Heck, you can add custom code to it so the game doesn't always play like a SNES Final Fantasy game. D:

And Djipi, I've played your OoT Cel Chaded mod. Seriously, WOW! :D Really nice! I notice you translated some of that into your game?

This looks amazing except for that TMC sprite. I wish I could cel-shade like that.
