    Phoenix Engine: The Phoenix Project

    About
The Phoenix Engine is going to be a small system to create Phoenix Wright (Gyakuten Saiban) cases. It will be easy to use. I've already shown the project to a large Phoenix Wright forum (Court Records), and got an extremely positive response.

    Demos
    • Phoenix Engine: The Phoenix Project 0.1 alpha
This is a really crap demo, it can barely be called a compatibility test. You are shown the Court Overview, and you can change the witness/defendant with a press of a button, and inputting a number.

    To-do list
For version 0.2, I'm planning on...
    • Adding more character IDs.
    • Adding more character ID compatibility. For example, being able to use, say, Will Powers as a defence attorney.
    • Courtroom panning.
    • Reading from TXT case files.
    • Awesome new loading screen.

Note: Damn, the Zora theme on Central doesn't show the white headings that well... Ah, well, better make 'em red. At least Court Records doesn't have ugly red headings :P.

Seems like it can be cool but the demo is only showing you the characters.

I know, sorry, it's a little compatibility test, basically.

Anyway, I've been working a bit more on the engine. Nothing much at the moment. I finished some more character IDs (now you can have Edgeworth as prosecutor in the Court Overview), credited "deufeufeu" for the DS rips, and... made the engine...

    DS STYLE!

I can't be bothered posting all the individual new screenshots, though, so go to the directory: http://wright.gmrealm.co.uk/pengine/screenshots/.

    Enjoy!

This looks pretty cool. Is that the courtroom from Gyakuten Saiban 4? Also, if you need sprites, go to www.court-records.net , they have complete sheets for pretty much every character (some of the PW1 Case 5 characters and some of the PW2 characters don't have all of their poses from the DS versions yet)

I know of Court Records. That's where I got these sprites :P.

I'm also registered on their forums, and posted my little engine test there too. My username at the forums is "Naruhodou-san".
