Trying to get the "channels" to sound right

I have been messing with some NES stuff in FLS 9.  Don't really know much of what I am doing but here is my result:

It has a 12.5% pulse, square, triangle, and noise.
Trying to get it to sound NES-ie.  Sounds almost more Gameboy than NES.
No, this song is not going to be in Myth of Heroa.  Trying to get close to authentic NES sounds before I compose anything.

You should use Famitracker. NES stuff will always sound right in that because it's built for NES music :P

Did a few more.  I am not the one composing the music.  I'm pulling it from vgmusic.com and just working with an 8-bit plugin in FL 9.
By the way, turn your volume down before you play these.  

I came up with the names for the songs.  I am sure some of you know what games they are from.
