Just messing around with low poly stuff to test things out (started low poly on purpose, as I can always split surfaces and such). And I'm just getting into UV mapping. I'm pretty much testing out what Game Maker can do since the free version of Unity can't do what I want (long story)
but I believe Game Maker can. Edit: I've just found out that Game Maker is able to handle my standards of quality, yadda yadda. So, sweet stuff! I wasn't sure if UV mapping would work properly in Model Creator, but I've found out how to do projective mapping that allows for proportional accuracy and with high res options. WIN. The WIP model above lacks proportional accuracy, having slight deformation and pixel stretching. But I can avoid that, now that I understand things better. I'll be starting up a thread about this project in time, but it will be a while before I get it far enough along.
