Sorry to revive an old topic, but.

I saw this last night.

And my god. I don't even like Batman that much. But, my god. I was extremely impressed and am greatly anticipating another sequel.

Robin wont happen. (Nolan hates Robin, Bale said he'd leave.)
Joker wont happen. (Ledger's dead, fans would flip.)

The movie was really awesome in my opinion it was better then Batman Begins! I lolled allot when the Joker made the pencil dissapear!  XD

It isn't a superhero movie. Iron Man is, and nothing can make Iron Man look mediocre, because Iron Man isn't mediocre. Iron Man is hardcore and nothing can make it less so.

Watched this last night.

A good movie, Ledger indeed lives up to the hype, but other than the Joker I found it pretty typical.
Bales Batman voice is honestly laughable- and I did laugh at it.
It's ridiculous that as soon as he puts on the suit he talks like that to everyone, even those who know he's batman- Is the suit supposed to be too tight on his throat or something?

Drink every time the dramatic siren rises with a scene

Drink every time two face dramatically reveals the other side of his face

I did notice this every time it came on. Fairly sure it happened at least four times. But, I was too caught up in the emotion, I didn't care :P.

Yeah, 100%. Especially in the Nolan series where all the sci-fi and fantasy is removed. Iron Man is a superhero in terms of the stupid amount of sci-fi surrounding his abilities (and in the comic, he now has superpowers).

Batman, in the stripped-down Nolan universe is just a very effective vigilante.

Thats cos in the movie they tried to make it all realistic and theoretical as possible.

and YAY I went to see it today and it was good indeed *nods*

But, may I ask one question, why does Batman talk with such a stupid voice? Bruce talks normally, and I realise that in order to protect his identity he has to change his voice but it sounds a bit silly <_<

It really sounds to me like he's trying to emulate the voice from the animated series. If you look at it in that light, it's rather quite good.

it doesn't sound like that. It sounds like a bad Solid Snake impression. He uses the voice so people won't recognize Bruce Wayne's voice as Batman's. It still sounds extremely stupid.
