damn, I had in mind something like Bonzai Buddy - a little Jesus character who walked round your screen and  you could talk to him, and he'd give synthesized speech, as well as random scriptures.

Thinking like that is certainly not going to do anything for your case. One must trust with true desire to strengthen a relationship to reap his guidance. We, as human beings, are imperfect. Jesus does not control the will of your parents, but what you can do is trust that things will work out for the best in the end through his guidance. Challenge builds knowledge. So, try it.

...Or completely ignore me and/or berate me as you please.

On topic, I'd like to point out that that Britney Spears title scares the life out of me. D:
