It looks cool, and that arm does move around quite fast!

But the video is perhaps a bit.. deceiving. He's not controlling it in real-time. It's no different than pushing a key on a keyboard.. and then watching the robot play out a preprogrammed move. When he moves in a general direction, or does a general gesture, the robot executes a similar preprogrammed move/gesture.

The speed and agility seen here is impressive, but real-time movements sure would make the "zomg the wii-mote's making it move" factor more impressive.
I know that real-time movements would be much more complex.. and for simple up-down-left-right movements(things that the IR bar handles).. such a task may be impossible using the wii-mote. The IR Bar doesn't cover you 360 degrees. But for that, perhaps somebody will find a solution.. or not.. I don't know, that'd be the future ;).

I agree with what you're saying Sterlin, but the fact that they strapped a sword to it makes it 100x cooler than anything else could possibly hope to obtain.  Now if they set the sword on FIRE.... >_>

What do you mean I need a life?  =P  Hm... Lives... Isn't that something that you get in Super Mario Bros?  You know, those green mushrooms?  That's a life, right?
