Well, since the isometric computer thing I made was really basically a failure, I thought i'd show off what I can really do with isometric art. Here's something I made around March or April, so it's pretty recent. EVERYTHING in the picture was made by me.  XD

Oh and jus some background info about why I made this, it was for a little game thing that I was working on with a friend. Unfortunately, I can't really put it up for download to play because it was made using a program that comes downloaded with a game... (Think of it kind of like Sim City. You can build your own cities and stuff, so it's like creating a game within a game, but this isn't made with Sim City or anything)

Comments on this one would be very much appreciated.  :D

You killed the iso fad. No one's gonna want to look like an utter failure compared to that.

Looks really good, the only problems are the flat clouds and bushes. Besides that.. fantastic work.

WOW very good very good, but I'd have to agree with everyone that the bushes and clouds do look a bit weird.

Actually, I did that on purpose. ;)

Isometric makes things seem kinda 3D, so to give it that still "2D flatness", I wanted to make the clouds and bushes look flat, kinda like in the Paper Mario series, but thanks for the comments. :)

Love the clouds, and the whole thing is nice.  The pallete could probably use a bit of adjustment, and the flower + big bug thing look kinda fat and ugly.  Nice job :)

Yea, the palette needs some work, the cliff color is too dark.
And if I was you, I'd remove the black outline at the end of those cliffs.
Overall, nice work, though needs some adjustements.

I like the water.  It is nice.  Everything else I would say has already been said, so I'll leave it at that.

As you added details for the water, do the same for the grass. Because the water really looks wicked! It looks like a map for a Super Mario Isometric game :)

Holy !@#$% is that awesome O___o; no, really, that is brilliant. I don't have many crits, except the big flower thing near the middle isn't very good. It's got pixel overlap and isn't symmetrical. I don't think it was actually sprited either <.<

Yeah uh... that giant yellow flower thing is actually an NPC... It probably looks really weird because that's the back position of it, but yeah, not really the "best" thing I can make.
