And interiors is under discussion, as to whether the entire world will be seamless, as to some layers vanish when you enter interiors, or whereas there will be a giant seemless underworld map underneath the overworld. When you go indoors, it fades into a different map.
That totally reminded me of a Fan-game made with Games Factory, where you go into a house and the house layer totally vanishes until you leave it.

I also recongnized a few parts of the screenshots, like the Shadow Temple area, Kakariko Village in the Login screen.  I know that most of the screenshots are at the entrance to Kakariko Village, except in 2D. xD

I have to say, this is very well planned.

Hmmm, I thought the map looked familiar, but I couldn't place my finger on it.

Nice job. It'll be nice to explore Hyrule with friends.

Thought I'd say a few things.

Firstly, this game is still strong in development. Sorry for the lack of updates but with such a small development team its hard to work on the game, maintain the forums and keep everyone up to date. However, on the world of Hyrule forum, updates and previews are very regular.

So far the project has been under official development for about 6 months. We are slowly closing onto another testing client. Open Alpha.

Check the forum for details on our progress, however here is the generals-

Mapping - Hyrule Field, Death Mountain, Kakariko Village, And Castletown completed. Working on other areas and other aspects of the game.
Design - Majority of everything has been planned from the beginning, but we are working on some extra design documents and rediscussing game elements.
Interface - We have almost completed the new and final GUI
Graphics - We've completed a very large amount of overworld tiles. We've also covered a small amount of interior tiles that should be enough for most houses for open alpha. Although sprites aren't our currently priority, we have all the basis player sprites done, except for female which we will start soon. We also got a few monsters done/almost done for open-alpha. We have little items done, and plan to redo most that were in closed alpha. (they were mostly for testing)
Programming - The base of the engine has been completed for some time. We are working on a few slightly more advanced features, and also better optimization.

I'll update the main post with some extra screenshots or previews.

Just to let you know, we don't really tolerate these kind of bumps here, the ones where there's nothing to show. It gives others a chance to get their project seen.
If there's an update of sorts, feel free to bump your topic in the future.

Yes lets not dwell on that. I posted an update, no one replied so I bumped.

Moving on, we have all weapon icons/designs done for the next testing period. Its about 27 swords, 27 axes and 27 blunts.

The final version will obviously include more weapons, and weapon types, such as-
Daggers,
rods,
bombs,
grapples,
polearms,
bows,
slingshots,
offensive magic,
defensive magic,
and more.
