Why didn't I get a PS3?

The reason I got a 360 was so I could play three games: BioShock, Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, and Resident Evil 5. I was choosing those games over Metal Gear Solid 4 and God of War 3. Two of those 360 games were exclusive, now only one is. My reason for getting a 360 over a PS3 is now imbalanced, and it seems to me like a PS3 would be the more logical choice.

Metal Gear Solid 4
God of War 3
Resident Evil 5
BioShock
Final Fantasy XIII
Even Uncharted: Drake's Fortune

Upon realising this, I also realised the 360's best games are mostly FPS, a genre I've never really gotten into, where the PS3 seems to be taking on a reasonable amount of genres... FPS, Action/Adventure, RPG. The PS3 is not that bad at all.

Don't get me wrong, it think the 360 is a great console, but if you want to play something other than FPSs, it doesn't seem to be providing. There are few third-person action/adventure games on the 360, and that's the genre I enjoy most.

And I'm not going to get a PS3, 'cause I can't afford it after buying a 360.

Guess that'll teach me.

That is bad luck hoffy :/ you should think on selling your xbox360 and buying a Ps3 and some games, that might give you more options of what to play since if you don't enjoy the FPS of the 360.

BTW if you are not going to sell your xbox360 then try to get only the games that you will enjoy alot, and also try to make a list of what is going to be released for the xbox360, but yeah most 360 games are first person shooters, not all of them are bad but it is really boring to only play the same style of game.

If I were to get a PS3, I'd only get it for MGS4 and it would be the limited edition bundle that comes with all the other Metal Gear Solid games.

The 360 has Blue Dragon and Gundam Dynasty Warriors! :<

Hrmmm... Come to think of it, I've wanted a 360 just for those two games and Halo 3 (and perhaps the chance to play 2).

Any other good, non-FPS games on the 360? (Unless if there's a Medal of Honor, tell me if there is one; I enjoyed the PSP one! O_o)

Well, there's always Fable 2....  XD  I'm saving money for a PS3, just like you I enjoy third person adventures way more than FPS.  And Metal Gear Solid 4.... *shudder*  :)

:P PS3 has Gundam Dynasty Warriors aswell.

I never really saw a reason to buy a 360 in the first place.

don't get me wrong though, I'm excited for BioShock on my PS3

PS3 over 360, I have both.

Reasoning:
- [Possible] Final Fantasy VII
- Final Fantasy XIII
- Final Fantasy Versus XIII
- Metal Gear Solid 4
- God of War III
- Resident Evil 5
- Resistance: FOM

I am just not that into hardcore shooters, Gears of War is the !@#$% and all but meh the only reason we even got the 360 was Halo 3. Just like the only reason I got the Wii was Twilight Princess.
