Well I got tired of waiting and drew up some of my own.

They might be useful
Here it is:

Uh I added shading and the updated picture is at reply #13 (the latest post as of now)

Glad I was such an inspiration.

They look alright, but you should probably shade more, right now they seem to be colored-in lineart.

Reg... you can still post yours, yours are probably way better than mine.


Anyway that one that I first posted was a draft I'll work more on it and post a better version later.

Also Reg, if you really made some sprites or are still working on them finish it and post.
Just because I made my own doesn't mean I still don't need/want them.

Not that yours are bad, but I made these a while back when I was on a Futurama forum. If you want to use them you can. (I can't believe they are still on my computer LOL) They are RPG Maker style but you can use them for other things too.

Edit: Just realized you needed these for a platformer oh well sorry I couldn't help.

I updated the sprites: they're now shaded better and I added more frames to Bender's death animation.

Sir Cyrus, my first intention was to make these GBA quality and I know these are not like that yet.

LOL Thanks I was just gonna show what I did. If your interested I can do more, but if you want to keep yours that is fine. I just did them to see what I could do for some side scrolling sprites. Never can have to much practice.

That's better, but it doesn't look too much like Bender. We need something that basically mimics the cartoon's style.

Yeah I tried to do it from memory so I started one again with a reference about 15 minutes ago.

We need someone to find an image of the characters walking sideways in the DVDs, and use Vitrite or something to trace each frame :)
