Here recently I've tried playing games created with Multimedia Fusion.
To be specific I've played Yoshi Vs. Windows and Toad Strikes Back.
Their both good games and that's why I tried playing them but that's a story for the gaming forum.
The deal is about 10 minutes in to both games I hear a sound effect, like a coin, being repeated which occurs most often when I run through coins or something. Aside from the head-ache inducing noise at that time the game it self appears to only function while I'm pressing a keyboad key or moving the mouse when I stop either action is appears to freeze.

What could be the reason for this?

I had this problem to, but I fixed it somehow.
Right click the .exe of the game and go into Properties>Compatibly, then "Run this program in compatibly mode for: Windows 98/ME
I don't know if this is actually what fixed it, but the game runs fine after i did that.

thanks I did just that I think Multimedia Fusion might be incompatible with XP; weird why can't they fix that? XP has been put for a few years and they still have problems.

Thanks  it worked!

It's definitely compatable with Windows XP-- Multimedia fusion is just a glitchy program.
