Super Smash Bros. would be a great idea for an online title on the VC, as well as Super Mario Kart.

It's Nintendo, the only way they would add online to VC titles would be if they forced you to use friend code !@#$%.
We have to think of the kiddies after all.
Oh, we do? I think I just traumatized 4 african kids then by drawing a !@#$% on my mario kart. Wait, !@#$%, better change my tiles for animal crossing..

Feedback / Sage for Spam?
« on: February 10, 2008, 08:34:46 pm »
Spam does get ..spammy, of course. But is there any chance of us getting a sage function for that forum so that we can kill off the "really just no purpose of having this post except to say LOL SPAM HERES SMILIES FOR HOURS ON END OF SCROLLING FUUUUUUCK"? I dont mind the wall of text or completely pointless arguements, but god damn those smilies are annoying to watch for an hour.

I imagine the rest of the themes will eventually be updated.  Until then, you can access it from the user information section of any post.
Meh, I just changed. T'was easier and this theme is bad-ass anyway.

Maybe in entertainment you admins could make gaming a sub-forum? :P

you could use that logic for any forum though; which would be simply annoying to program in and would possibly(?) be abused.

Entertainment / Re: Give us a new Soul Calibur and RE game damn you Wii.
« on: February 10, 2008, 04:23:35 am »

Well they shouldn't port the 360 or PS3 version to the Wii. Because that  can only mean one big pile of !@#$%. They should do it like Atari does with Alone in the Dark 5! Because Atari has a small team that makes the Wii and PS2 version of the game. They know what the game features and try to make it like the 360 and PS3 version where it's technically possible. Because some things in that game need a pretty strong processor which the Wii and PS2 do not have. The only reason why they haven't done this with Soul Calibur IV and RE5 is because they are dumb! there's just no other explenation for this.

[/quote]

The problem is that seperate development teams have to be made for each system. The exception would be PS2/Wii. Even then, they treat the Wii like its a gamecube (code wise) and throw in some !@#$% controls. PS3 and 360 actually have different development teams that are familiar with said system they're programming for, as to make it more quickly, so it costs less. You wont see very many full cross-platform releases this generation because Nintendo pretty much made GameCube 2 with motion controls. This is also why I'm disappointed with mine. Thank god I have my 360, otherwise I'd be stuck playing games that just aren't made out to be what we expect from the system. :/

I thought since Microsoft did it for games like Pacman on the XBLA, wouldn't it make sense to do it on the Wii as well?

EDIT: Mario Strikers Charged, Dragon Ball Z: BT3, and Guitar Hero III have Leaderboards as well.

The thing is, all they do is convert code, edit out bugs, edit new features in. Nintendo takes the code and just uses an emulator, similar to how the XBox Originals work. This is why the XBO's dont have achievements, or online if it wasnt originally in the game. They'd have to mess with code and they're lazy.

Windows is like a woman.. She doesnt exactly expect alot from you, and if you cheat on her, and you're lucky enough to have her take you back, chances are you'll still feel the sting of guilt she'll imply. Thats why you have to be very open with your relationship, and tell her exactly what you expect. Good luck my friend.

Debates / Re: Abortion
« on: August 16, 2007, 08:48:56 pm »
Ugh, I hate abortion arguments. No offense, but it's such an open-ended discussion, there's just no way to pressure your views onto others without the use of violence.

I pretty much think that abortion is up to the mother or the couple going through with it. I don't think it matters whether or not the fetus can feel pain. Until the child is born, it's just apart of the mother's body and she, or the couple, are the only ones who can decide whether or not to kill it.
Does it become a human when it exits the vagina, or when it is disconnected from the mother?
I don't think it matters, but the latter, IMO. I suppose in keeping to my opinion it is still apart of the mother when it is connected to her, although I don't think that point is valid to my argument.
So, it's okay to kill a newborn baby that still has the umbilical cord?
If the baby is aborted, it should probably be aborted before labor occurs. You wouldn't kill it while labor is occurring, and you'd have to be a pretty sick person to kill a newborn baby. An abortion should be undertaken months beforehand, and I'm fairly sure there's some kind of law on when a baby can be aborted, anyway.
But what difference does it make. For what specific reason is abortion okay before labor, but not after labor. Laws are unimportant as far as this is concerned.
The law was only backing the point of my argument. Of course you have to consider the first point I made in my first post: "it's such an open-ended discussion, there's just no way to pressure your views onto others without the use of violence." I wouldn't abort my child, but I can understand the reasoning for the people who would. Some people just don't have the time to care for a child, they have THEIR OWN LIVES to get on with.

If a woman had a chance of dieing if she went through with a pregnancy, then shouldn't she protect her own life by killing her baby (unless he was against it)? It's like killing in self-defense, sometimes you do need to kill to protect yourself. And for some people, not being able to continue their education or career is worse than death. They should have the right to protect their lives, and their bodies.

But as I said, open-ended.
I see no reason why adoption can't serve the same purpose.
Well I mean, sure, if the couple would instead prefer to put the child up for adoption, it's their choice. But there's also the condition of ruining a woman's body or even dieing during or after pregnancy that makes abortion somewhat suitable.
So are you saying that appearance is more important than a child's life? Practically no one thinks that abortion should be illegal in the case where the woman's life is at risk.
No, I was referring to physical injuries.

And I'd hope not.
What about cases not involving either?
then oh well. its not your kid. boo fuckin hoo. get over it. people die every day, just as people are born every day. you'll get over it.
So by your logic, we shouldn't have any laws.
no. i think that people are bitching over something stupid. abortion is a stupid topic; we've done it since the beginning of man kind. What about chicken eggs? turtle eggs? we've ruined all sorts of !@#$% for animals, but when it comes to something about humans, OH !@#$%. we're better then them and deserve to actually be given a second thought about. you're double standarding. the guy whos against abortion may be a farmer, may have killed an embryo in an egg. what did he just do? the same damn thing hes against. you people need to realize its been done forever, and we're no different then the animals we've done it too. quit being selfish.
