My Wii lost its erecti- err power

Yeah, I don't play my Wii that much but I wanted to play some MLB 2k8 the other night and my Wii won't turn on.
A few people told me to get a new power supply but damn, expensive.
Plus, shouldn't a warranty cover this?

Call Nintendo and ask if your Wii is covered under warranty.

Same thing happened to my friend's Wii. If you only got it 3 months ago, it should be covered by warranty. Send it back, and get it replaced :).

Wow thats wierd, I know loads of people with Wiis and it not happened to any of them...
If its only 3 months old id assume it was still under the warranty, but im not certain.

Worse Fix Ever. That thing would break faster than the Wii.

Anyways, I've never heard of that problem with the Wii yet o_O Are you sure it wasn't a short or something? Did your power go out at all or anything?

!@#$% power supply.  I went over to my buddies at Game Crazy and they let me test my Wii with their equipment.  Basically, yeah...bad power supply.

!@#$% you Nintendo.  Seriously, wtf?  I thought only 360 had the problems but a power supply of all things?
And one that is hardly ever used at that?


Keep going after the ignorant casual gamer who knows nothing about systems and maintenance.
