Reputation: +3/-0 Offline Gender: Posts: 1675	If not could a staff move it to the correct forum? Anyway, I think that in honor of E3 2009's greatest hits, we should remix favorite tracks of the older games. (Golden Sun, Metroid, Mario, etc) Not exactly TOMC potential, but it could be fun! Logged

* Kren looks into the future and sees 10 Golden Sun related remixes.

I would prefer a original feautures contest, for example, a game that only uses mouse or one that uses only two keys.

Personally I'd love to see a Rougelike contest, a very well known yearly Roguelike contest lasts seven days and you should see some of the things people can come up with in that time-frame.

The remix one sounds good, too bad my skills with music (and art for that matter) are roughly equivilent to a tone-deaf, blind and mute porcupine trapped in a small plastic bag. But it'd be interesting to see the results.

The 'unique limiting trait' such as only using the mouse also sounds good. I've seen a "use mouse only" contest done at a [quick/free]basic forum (this was back when the latter was just a faster form of the former without any of it's fancy OOP stuff) before and people could do some pretty neat things.
