OK, I think I understand what you mean, I will add another part before the entrance (it begins on the southest part of the map, in the top of a tree), change some of the places to make them look a bit more "foresty". Yes, is my first try, and well, I wanted to contribute, I will try my best for you to like it.
Oh, also, that section where you have to pull the statue: Nice idea, but I think the statue seems a bit heavy to pulled with the hookshot.About that, it wouldn't be pulling the statue per se, it would be pull the triforce it has on the front side.
Personally I think you should use the minish woods tileset and dungeon tileset as a base for the dungeon...About that, I've been searching for MC tilesets, but I haven't found any of them yet. If someone could give me a link to it, I'd be very thankful.

I downloaded the Doc, and I saw that it just had one boss: Ganondorf, and his characteristics aren't very detailed. Do you mind if I add some submission on the Bosses? Or is that it will just have one only boss. If it's that, sorry for the post.

"You know, after working for Nintendo for so much time, we need something to take out the stress, and that's how we began rocking" Words from Red in an interview about the "Rock Crossover".
The Rock Crossover is a band, that began playing March the 1st 2012. It was formed by the lead guitarist, Red; bassist, Link; and keyboards, Mario. They knew that they couldn't play just with this three, they needed a singer and a drummer. They all searched for someone of their job, that could play one of those two roles. Mario got Bowser for drums and Link found Zelda for vocals. Then Red came saying "Hey, guess what, Leaf plays guitar, so I offered her to play as second guitar". That way, with the full band, they began playing. At the first they heard them, when they saw Bowser and Mario together, and they thought that there was going to be a fight, and everybody escaped. In an exclusive interview, Bowser was asked about this thing:
-[...] So, Bowser, after all this time, you know, fighting against Mario, how did you two, you know, ended up playing together?
-Well, everybody would thought that we're really bad enemies, but that's just the in-game experience. You know, we're really good friends. At the beginning, with the launch of Super Mario Bros, I played the role of the evil guy. Until now, I've been doing that, but that doesn't mean that we're real-life enemies.
-Hmm, interesting. [...]
About the other members, Link is getting married with Zelda, and Red and Leaf are close to complete the pokedex. This band is having a world tour, beginning June the 21st.

Kai is a trainee warrior from the city of Gardenia. He’s best friend is Tyson, a sword master. He’s friend with the princess of Gardenia, Karin, but they can’t talk too much because the king says that a princess can’t befriend with a knight. He and Tyson were entrusted to deliver the Stone Sword to the City of Eternia. Although it’s just a sword with a rock blade, its power is sealed. The power of the Stone Sword, truly called the Gaia sword, has the power to give destruction to the whole world. As soon as they reach Eternia, a black cloud appears over the city. When they were giving the king of Eternia, the sword, a black thunder broke the roof of the castle, and hit the sword. A shady character appeared, and claimed the sword. Although Kai and Tyson try to protect the sword, they’re easily defeated and both faint.
When they woke up in the hospital of the Castle of Gardenia, they’re told that Max, the on who broke in the Castle of Eternia, is searching for the six Elementum Temples, earth, fire, water, wind, thunder and shadow, and take the power of them, to unseal the power of the Gaia Sword. After that, they’re told that they can control one of the six elements. Once they’re given the elemental rocks of their respective powers, Kai becomes a Tornado Master, and Tyson a Blaze Knight. They’re the only warriors left in town, and they are told to go and make sure that he doesn’t collect the elemental forces, which are needed to unseal the power of the Gaia Sword. As they leave, Karin finds them and joins the quest. She’s the best archer in the city, and a is in her way to become the Whirlwind archer. And this way, their journey for the Elementum Temples begins.
