I'm trying to put an OS on my crappy old computer [that's probably not going to work]. I've tried installing Ubuntu and Xubuntu, but it freezes part way through installing either of them. I thought I might try GNU or Minix. Does anyone know if either of them are any good, or have a something different to suggest?

EDIT: I'm now thinking about DeLi Linux.

The iso was only 92 megs. Logged

TinyXP is decent, but it can be better. Try DarkCrystalXP... oh wait, you're looking for a more vintage Windows >_<.. Anywho, just download nlite and remove whatever is not needed. TinyXP is good, but it's still bloated comparing to what you could get Windows down to.
