Background information
::==============::
I've noticed that the majority of Zelda fan-games are made with GameMaker. Unlike those games' programmers, my game programming is mostly done in Flash. I've made a couple of little things in Flash such as games and personal Flash animations, but for the past few months, I've been working on a Zelda fan-game. The reason (other than the obvious fun-factor creating games can give)? I needed something to help separate my fan-site, Zelda Dimension (owned by myself, and my girlfriend), from other fan-sites.
Of course, a Zelda fan-game is anything but new and different, which is why I'm working on a game that's not your normal Zelda fan-game, nor is it a wanna-be-MMORPG. Everything is saved online, and while it's largely related to Zelda, it's basically its own game, too. Other than The Adventure of Link, Nintendo hasn't made Zelda games use an actual RPG formula - well, I'm going to try to. This takes away from the experience that you get when playing action-based Zelda games, but oh well - it'll create its own new experience (I hope).

Other bits of information

For 2007's April Fools, we released
this.
More information regarding our fan-game can be viewed on the official
Zelda: HFP site.
The game has a different aspect to it from other Zelda games in case a situation with Nintendo's franchise comes into concern. That way, we will be able to change some things around, but not the "entire game".
