Has Man Really Been to the Moon?

Do you believe that man has really been to the moon, or do you believe, like myself that it was just a big hoax to get the American people behind something in light of the Russian/American standing at the time?

Oh dear.  It doesn't matter what I believe, because we DID go to the moon.  There's no evidence otherwise, and guess what?  Our flag's still up there!

I have to admit, it was odd that the flag was waving in air that couldn't have been on the moon.

Actually, the Japanese sent a probe and mapped the entire surface of the moon.. guess what? No flags are visible.

Also, if the Russians were so intent on getting to the moon in 1968-69 why did they just shut down all of their projects after spending so many millions of dollars?

Fox TV and the Apollo Moon Hoax
(February 13, 2001)

On Thursday, February 15th 2001 (and replayed on March 19), the Fox TV network aired a program called ``Conspiracy Theory: Did We Land on the Moon?'', hosted by X-Files actor Mitch Pileggi. The program was an hour long, and featured interviews with a series of people who believe that NASA faked the Apollo Moon landings in the 1960s and 1970s. The biggest voice in this is Bill Kaysing, who claims to have all sorts of hoax evidence, including pictures taken by the astronauts, engineering details, discussions of physics and even some testimony by astronauts themselves. The program's conclusion was that the whole thing was faked in the Nevada desert (in Area 51, of course!). According to them, NASA did not have the technical capability of going to the Moon, but pressure due to the Cold War with the Soviet Union forced them to fake it.

I heard the footage was fake, since the cameras didnt really made a good recording on the moon.

I wont be surprised it its all a fake, not the first time in American history that there are cover-ups >_<

I wouldn't be surprised if the first landing was a hoax, but by now, I doubt any of the later moon missions were fake.

ROFL!  I just knew that the Fox special was going to come up.  I'll make a few statements, then I'll withdraw from a debate based off such a stupid program.

The flag didn't wave unless someone moved it.  You'll see it standing perfectly still in the shots, unless they're touching it.  Trust me, I've had to write a 3-page research paper on that bloody "we didn't land on the moon" fox special (thank heavens that same Fox CEO doesn't own Fox News, or I'd kill myself).  I even believed it for almost a day... until I did the research part ;)

Thats interesting stuff that one of YouTube...makes me wonder.

Does this mean nobody ever went to the moon? Or just the Americans?

I believe we've been to the moon... I just think that the first 'landing' was staged to beat the Russians in the space race.
