Can we just turn this into a Nintendo Press Conference discussion topic?

Videos from the conference.
http://www.nintendo.co.jp/n10/index.html#event

New Punch-Out for Wii
Sin and Punishment 2 for Wii
Monster Hunter 3 for Wii
New Dynasty Warriors for Wii
New Tales game for Wiid

Mario and Luigi 3 for DS

These are only what I remember.

Nintendo is also rereleasing GameCube games on the Wii. Only one announced so far is Pikmin.
Added one to your list! And !@#$% yes, Pikmin! The one Gamecube game I still need to get!
Actually that was that Capcom vs anime fighting game, not SFIV.

Why is little Mac black? :( (lol m rapr)
That's just because of the transparency effect. When he's not in front of another boxer he's white.

Nintendo has announced a new "Play on Wii" selection of GameCube games to be remade for Wii.

During their fall conference this morning, Nintendo Co, Ltd. announced that they would be starting a new range of games called the Play on Wii range. These games are modified GameCube games remade to utilise Wii controls.

During the conference, only two titles were confirmed to be heading to Wii through this range: Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat and Pikmin. No doubt more titles will be announced in the future.

The Play on Wii range has been confirmed to be launched in both Japan and Europe, but no word from Nintendo America just yet. We'll bring you more on this as we get it.

Twilight Princess anyone? :awesome:

Awesome, original left-handed Link on Wii, yahoo!

By the way, can you imagine Wind Waker? On Wii? Freaking awesome.

IGN is liveblogging the North American conference. Expect mostly rehashing of stuff we learned at the Japan conference.

Well this all seems pretty cool. The SD storage is good, glad they finally did that...
The new DS... I prefer it to the DSlite, so may get it as a replacement for my phat. If I need/want to play GBA games, ill whack out the ol' SP, then I can Play GB/GBA (read: La,OoX,Pokemon R/B/Y/G/S/C) aswell.

Guitar Hero

That game sucked for DS anyways. It was extremely uncomfortable and always slipped out.

It's quite clearly copying the iPhone. PSP doesn't have camera, microphone, sound editing software, and the ability to make your own animated cartoons and stop-frame animations.

It has one you can plug in, and the newest model has one embedded.

DS has an embedded microphone, which at the moment is the only handheld in the videogames industry to have such a thing. With the DS being the PSP's main rival, it makes sense that Sony copied Nintendo with it, since Nintendo were first to announce a handheld console complete with an embedded microphone. It's not about inventing the technology, it's about showing everyone online that I did including it as part of a package. To clarify, Sony copied Nintendo by including a microphone as part of a very similar package.

Nintendo stole the idea from MP3 players with microphones built in.

MP3 Players=/=Handheld Games Consoles. That's why I specified "only handheld in the videogames industry".
