Why should Microsoft's and Sony's consoles define what a "true" next-gen console is?  Not being able to process a jillion wtfunkabites never stopped Nintendo from ever being creative with the Wii or the DS.

Pfft, stories in games are awesome.

Yeah, don't forget about Super Mario Bros. or Twilight Princess or Shadow the Hedgehog or Pacman.

Actually, it reminds me a lot of TWW, but then again, ALttP already did.
I'm not sure if I'd ever want to play OoT again, but this is interesting anyway.

No, I'm replaying Prime 2, after having sold it a few years ago and just rebought it yesterday.  I'd erased my file so I have to start over again.

But if the Wii can run games like Metroid Prime 3, Super Mario Galaxy, and Super Smash Bros. Brawl, how much worse would the graphics for Oblivion have to be?  If they'd only as good as those games I mentioned, I don't see how they would be anywhere near ugly.

No, I'm pretty sure the Boost Ball Guardian comes before the Alpha Blogg, or else I would've figured out how to get to the Alpha Blogg sooner.  From what I can remember, the Boost Ball Guardian was the only real challenge.

As for now, though, I've got got 30 missiles, 100 light and dark beam ammo, and two energy tanks, and only need the last key in Agon Wastes.  The Space Jump Guardian was a little too easy, Dark Samus was a pushover, and nearly everything else made me feel as if MP1 was impossible.  There really isn't as much backtracking, and it is a whole lot easier to get from room to room without hundreds of enemies swarming around like those annoying Chozo Ghosts or Metroids.

Anyway, MP1 will have to wait quite a while before I play it again.

Wow, what's with all the Wii hate?  I thought this was a Zelda/Nintendo forum, where millions of HBs could thrive and reproduce and such.

This doesn't seem like very big news to me.  Never played Oblivion and don't really know what it is, so I don't care.  Hopefully somebody uses the engine to make a good game, though.

Meh, I don't have many.  I don't usually play games for good storylines or graphics, rather than simply just gameplay, but I'll try to list a few.

"I'm just a cop"(or something along the lines of that) - Nick Kang, from True Crime: Streets of LA.  I guess it's not a very good one, but it seems to fit the idea that everyone has a role(although not neccassarily good or evil), and that's that.

"..." - Link

"..." - Samus

"..." - Mario

Everything Zant says once he's revealed to be something similar to the man behind the curtian, or the thing under the helmet.

*San Andreas spoilers ahead*

Most of what Big Smoke and Tenpenny say before and after the part in the game where you have to kill Big Smoke.  I guess it's just that I find their characters to be really interesting.

No, lol.  I'm thinking of just fooling around and mixing some styles.  Fidley will still manage to be creepy, somehow.

Uma - I was joking. lol
Maybe I should try that though...

Moldrill - Sorry for misunderstanding.  I guess I could try a slightly different style than this, but I've always liked the simplicity of Kirby's Samus form in SSB, and decided it was best suited for the game I'm making.

In other news, I'm working on Ridley.

Checkmate?

Anyway, the stupid Fission Metroids kept pissing me off and it seemed like there wouldn't be an end to them, so eventually I just tried to ignore them and found my way to Metroid Prime.  I kept fighting it until Subchamber 4 or whatever that room is called, but then died because the freaken ice beam funking sucks, so I just gave up and stopped playing.

I then preceeded to sell both TP and True Crime: Streets of LA so I could rebuy MP2, so I could try to actually finish it rather than just getting to fight the Alpha Blogg.  So far I got to Dark Agon Wastes, and it IS in fact a lot easier than MP1.

Probably Majora's Mask, which uses the Wiimote to more of an extent than TP, and perhaps the graphics could actually look exactly like the art-style it has.  And maybe they could add a few more side-quests or make the ones that are in it longer.

Right.  That's why, from now onward, I'm going to leave faces out of all of my drawings.

Moldrill - Meh, I've never been too good at drawing anything too realistic, and realistic drawings tend to bore me anyway(which may be why I like TWW's art style more than I like TP's).  Besides that, I wanted to make it have a more humorous, silly feel rather than the semi-dark style Metroid games seem to have.  For example, the Spider ball is actually a spider that can shoot webs rather than Samus curled up into a ball.

But the ones I'll be making for the ending of my fan game will be a bit more realistic, or a normal anime-ish style.

Uma - lol.  I don't really like the quality of the picture, but this camera is all I have to work with.  The problem with it is that I can't fit much of the picture in without it looking blurred and crappy.

Thanks for the comments.

Well, one of my siblings got a camera for her birthday and is allowing me to use it, and I've recently been playing a lot of Metroid games, so I decided to make some fanart.  So here it is:

Samus

Spider ball

That won't be the last of it.  Feel free to speak your mind, or whatever.

Well, that's what I figured the polygon and wireframe teams were, just puppets of the Master Hand and Crazy Hand, although they could have really been anything.  But all three of those groups seem minion-sih to me.

No, it's not stupid to compare the two.  Would you call me ignorant if I liked oranges more than I like apples?  If you would, you're the one who is an idiot.  I can like oranges because of their taste, and I can think Zelda games are easier because I've completed all but Phantom Hourglass without many problems.  And Mario is better than Pacman for so many reasons.

EDIT: Anyway, I was finally able to defeat that stupid Omega Pirate once I started ignoring the smaller enemies it called, and then, somehow, I completely pwned Meta Ridley;  by the time I got it to stay on the ground, it had only taken one energy tank from me.  But after that it took nearly half my life before I was able to kill it.  I think I'll be taking a small break before I decide to go further.

The last time I played mine or my brother's GBC's, they worked ok I guess.  I'd rather just use the GBC/GBA player for my Gamecube, though.  Almost none of the GBC or GBA games I have have been glitchy or anything, except perhaps for a few times in Super Mario Bros. Deluxe, and ET sucks for some reason or another.
