I downloaded it for the VC today, and so far, just past level 2, it's pretty fun.  It's not as hard as LoZ, AoL, or SMB, or perhaps even SMW, which is good, but it definetly feels a bit more challenging than Kirby 64(the only other Kirby game I'vge played), but maybe that's because I'm just not as good as controlling Kirby with the Wiimote rather than the N64 controller.  But it's fun.

However, I have a question to ask: Does this game automaticaly save?  I would suppose so, since you get to make a file at the title screen, but just to be safe I left through the HOME menu, because nowhere did I get any sort of message or notice that it was saving.  And trying to get past Metaknight's soldiers again would be painful.

Also, what do you think of this game?

I have it on the VC too. It's a great game, and yes, it saves automatically. My favorite powerup is either UFO, or Ball Kirby. UFO was ultimate, but Ball Kirby was the most fun to control.

Thanks.

I haven't gotten either of those powerups yet.  So far I think my favorite would be the tornado power-up.  Either that or that one that lets Kirby roll over his enemies at ten jillion mph.  I think this may inspire me to add more "spells" to Robo Jesus. :D

Kirby was pretty much intended to be a game for beginners. Still a great game.

I downloaded this a while back, I think it's definitely the most graphically advanced NES game I've ever played. It's exactly like the GBA game (Nightmare in Dreamland) that my brother had, so I've played it before, but it still is a really fun game.

Asking on a forum like this if we played Kirby for the NES is like asking to your mother if she's your mother.

I just download the ROM a few weeks ago. I love that game and have good memories of it. Nightmare in Dreamland is good, but it just isn't as magical.

After you're done with adventure, play Super Star for SNES. It's even better.

I'll try if it's on the VC.  Trying to play SNES games on my computer sucks.

Your PC has problems with running SNES games? O_o Wow... then you REALLY have to get a new PC!

I'll just guess that it's not that his computer can't handle them, he just doesn't know how to get them to work. Or maybe he just doesn't fancy playing with the keyboard. Again, just guesses.

Kirby's Adventure is one of my favourite games. I have the original for the NES... it was one of the most entertaining games I've ever played. Endless levels, non-stop new skills, fun mini-games... ^__^
Even though it was easy, that was what added to the fun. I could easily go about.
The game's not as good without the original NES... but it's still fun.

Drew, the one for the NES is Kirby's Adventure. Kirby's Dreamland is the first kirby game for the Gameboy Pocket.

Kirby's Adventure rocks! Although I beat it in less than a day, it's still an awesome game!
I actually just bought Kirby's Dreamland (again, my cousin lost it  :'( ) and have beaten it twice already
(very, VERY easy game).

My computer can run NES games just fine, and some N64 games, too.  I just don't like playing with a keyboard(unless it's an RPG, like Super Mario RPG, where you have time to do what you need for the most part).

Anyway, I just killed Metaknight.  He killed me once, but then I just chose to keep flying, and only go down to attack after he did his jump-attack thing.  I also managed to get to Brinstar in Metroid, I think.

You can get powers on the NES one but not on the GB one right? I always get the two confused

Kirby's Adventure is a great game. I loved the remake that was Nightmare in Dreamland, but Kirby's Adventure is a massive achievement on the NES, despite being released so late in it's time. I love Adventure, and I love Crystal Shards too (depsite many not liking Crystal Shards).

It's a shame they don't make the Kirby games like they used to :(.
