Allah = God (In arabic)
Allah is not a god it is a name for god such as "Kami" in Japanese. Just needed to clear this up as everyone goes around assuming something that it is another god. Its actually the same god from the Judaism, and Christianity not the current ones as they have been changed far to much over the centuries.
Get it right because I don't want to have to choke someone.

Isn't the Christian religion very similar to both Judaism and Judaism similar to muslims? From what I've read in my history book, the only differences are certain religious beliefs such as Jesus only being a prophet of Jesus and what have you. I was shocked to read that the muslim bible was pretty much the new testament. I mean, sure, religious holidays are different but you can't prevent that. I hope to GOD this doesn't turn into a religious debate >_>

Let's not turn it into one, I was just stating the above as it pisses me off and I wanted to educate people.
The only differences are the Quran has an answer and a a rule for almost everything you do in life. It says that Judaism and Christianity are both correct religions (what you guys learn about now of Christianity and Judaism is false information as it has changed a lot over the years). However God has made a new religion and that is Islam all must follow....
Etc, etc, read if you interested which I doubt anybody is.

Okay. I don't know anything about Japanese language/culture, so I didn't get it. =\

The way I see it is that a lot of people assume that the famous saying is "There is no God, but Allah," meaning that Allah and God are two completely different things, and Allah is the one that's real. In reality, according to my Muslim friend, the phrase is actually "There is no god but Allah," which is essentially the same as "There is no god other than God."
I think. I'm not sure, it's been a while.

Worldly? Religiously diverse? Philosophically educated? Open minded? Culturally aware? I could go on all day, lol.
Anyway, I was aware of that also. I personally enjoy reading and learning about different religions, and Islam is definitely the most interesting of the main monotheistic religions as far as I'm concerned. King Solomon alone makes it awesome, (he's mentioned in the Bible and the Tanakh as well, but is covered in much greater depth in the Qur'an). The Djinn are really interesting to read about also.

To be honest, I dont know anyone that makes this mistake other then like... super religious zealots :P
