Although I only think that JB should be dark haired, and Daniel is fair haired, but nevermind. Brosnan looked old and acted old. Daniel looks a bit old (apart from is big juicy muscles) but acts young. Logged

The story was NOT engaging at all, and it was almost all non-stop, over-the-top action. The villian was just lame. The bond girls were lame. Everything about it was just dissapointing. I really loved Casino Royale too, I thought we were moving forward Logged

Y'know what I hate? People who base their expectations solely on a few reviews they read.

Rotten Tomatoes says 66% of reviewers gave it a positive review; even assuming reviewers are in touch with what the general population likes from a movie (they're normally wrong), that's a 2/3 chance you'll at least enjoy it.

Considering where it's coming from, yeah, pretty likely to be a disappointment from Casino Royale, but take it on its own merits and enjoy it as its own film, and it should be pretty fun.

From what I hear, these Bond films have been planned as a three-movie arc; in that way, this is the "Empire Strikes Back" of the trilogy; the middle film is bound to be the weakest.

The Brosnan bond movies at least kept me entertained with its ridiculous gadgets and such, but meh... These ones are back to boring :\... Casino Royale was meh... I'll probably rent this anyway just to see what all the fuss is about, but I will probably hate it too :\ Logged
