Okay, this may be a little silly, but I'm in doubt wether or not the attached item sprites could fit the alttp style/world.
I mean to replace the pendants from the original with a set of rings.
EDIT: The 3rd and 4th attachement is the runner up option I have in mind. Same question. Will these fit?
-
Ehh these looks more like Gameboy sprites tight butthole
-
IMO, the 3rd and 4th sets look more like tiaras or necklaces than the first two. I'm not sure what the first two are supposed to even be, they look sorta like thorny or spiky rings. Or rings with pickaxes as the jewels.
As for spriting style, the sprites use only one shade of the colors they are supposed to have, no contrast. See here (http://www.spriters-resource.com/snes/zeldalinkpast/sheet/7589).

Right. I guess its back to searching through the internet.
I don't suppose anybody already has any usable sprites?
-
Well, if you recolored them, they could be made to fit ALttP style.
-
Just recolour them like Niek said and they will fit in perfectly. I had a go with these -

From Skeme's sprites, the first one looks like a better candidate.
-
I agree with Skeme, these would be better recoloured to fit in with the style.
-
I took a look at the pendants and was surprised to find two colors of blue/green/red. Just out of curiousity: how do the following rings look?
They look great there, don't look out of place at all.
-
I would make the ring part a different color, such as yellow. This would make the jewel part stand out more and the three rings look like three parts of a set.
EDIT: I tried to see what a recolor would be. See the attachement. However you might want to use actual colors from the ALttP palet, as I just grabbed 3 shades of yellow. It probably also defies ALttP style somewhat.

The first image is your sprites Niek. The second is my take on your suggestion before I saw your edited message.

The second is much better on the eyes, more contrast between.
-
Yeah, the second one is MUCH better!

I think they fit the LTTP style just fine now, but may I ask if there's a purpose to their shape? They still seem to me to be a kinda peculiar shape.

I agree... Just makes me think of a pick axe. If that particular shape isn't too important then I would suggest changing it up a bit.

The shape serves no real purpose other then that I found it looked interesting.
I am open to suggestions.
