I just put 100%....ZFGC has drastically changed since it launched in 2003, and this change is no different.  If people think this isnt ZFGC, then what makes everything after EZboard ZFGC?

Debates / Re: Which is better a Desktop or a Laptop
« on: May 06, 2006, 05:52:56 pm »
I prefer a desktop, but both are equal really.

Desktops are usually more powerful (excluding alienware..) and a bit easier to use.  They're also easier to upgrade and can hold more harddrives (correct me if i'm wrong, my friend's can only have 1 internal hdd).

Laptops are portable..IMO that makes up for all the things a desktop has.

looks good to me =)

I am now bored and i\\\'m going to write some random program...probably won\\\'t work since i\\\'m out of practice and I just got back from running the track in gym and my typing is sloppy..

Code: [Select]
#include <iostream>

using namespace std;

int DoWork (short int Ma, short int Va, short int Mb, short int Vb)
{

cout << \\\"Ooh fun, lets find the value of Vb, which is the volume of the base!!!YAY!!!!\\\\n\\\";
cout << \\\"Enter Ma, molarity of the acid\\\\n\\\";
cin >> Ma;
cout << \\\"Enter Va, volume of the acid, in mL\\\\n\\\";
cin >> Va;
cout << \\\"Enter Mb, molarity of the base.\\\\n\\\";
cin >> Mb;
cout << \\\"Working...\\\\n\\\";

Ma *=Va;
Ma /=Mb;

cout << \\\"Volume of the base is\\\"<< Ma <<\\\" mL\\\"n;
}

int main()
{
DoWork(Ma, Va, Mb, Vb);
system (\\\"pause\\\");
}

Again, not sure if it will work and I can\\\'t test it now as i\\\'m in graphic design and i\\\'m compilerless >.<

Dell's XPS M1710 would run circles around it for gaming.

If you have unlimited money then buy an alienware laptop.Trust me.

why alienware when you have...

same power, 3X cheaper.  My friend's alienware has had a gillion problems.  Overheating (he had to put a fan on the outside of it..)...USB ports stop working when the laptop is moved...and it broke completley once

Messing around with things you don't understand doesn't help you learn. :[

How do you think I learned?  By pressing buttons...no joke..

alarms are timers.  You set them to a value and it starts counting down.  When it hits zero, its even is executed.  A value of 30 = 1 second.
Variables come in local and global.  They are used in EVERY language, so I suggest you learn those immediatley.  They store values that you can use for later.

If I set say, blah to 5...and I do 5 *=2, it'll be the same thing as blah *=2

Speed..is just how fast something moves O_o it's a variable..

you know that even when you learn GML, you're still going to be using D&D every now and then...D&D doesn't take long to learn, if you can read then you can learn it.

You can't use freedom of religion to back this up.  Let's take the supreme court case, New York board of education vs. i forgot who...The schools were forcing students to pray to God before school started.  What if you don't believe in God?  No freedom there...

avoid one-piece.....stay with Naruto, FMA, and Tsubasa  ;D

This movie tops my list.  Loved the battle scenes, the graphics were amazing, and the music IMO was awesome.  Hell I went out and bought the soundtrack, not something I do too often O_o
