Alright, Well, I was just pondering some things, and I came up with a sweet, yet random boss idea!
Okay, basicly the boss starts off with random other bosses masks on the wall..(Kinda like a Majora Mask type of deal) then during the fight, a random mask comes off the wall and goes ON to the boss, giving that boss the characteristics of the bosses mask (if its say...Ganon, He goes invisable/ can only be hurt with light arrows) i dunno, its just something I came up with Right at this very second, run with it you little linklings!

Sounds somewhat like the Headhunter in Aria of Sorrow. But, if coded correctly, it could work.

Sounds cool. A boss with lots of movesets means that people will have to figure out how to hurt it over and over and over! >:D

If anyone has played Kirby64, and knows who Miracle Matter is, this suggestion is that, with a small modification.

Pretty cool, but I don't like to verse a boss not knowing what I'll get =P

Ah this should be fun...a challenge ooohhhh been awhile

That is an AWSOME idea.

Similar things have been implemented in Zelda - not exactly the bosses, but it takes you back to the location where you fought the boss, or something similar.
You could make it so the actual boss is an amorphous blob or something, and a mask goes to wherever his face would be, and he turns into an old boss. Or are you trying to make it have characteristics of bosses you've never fought yet?

kind like kakuza in naruto he has hearts of other nin and he has different elemental attacks because of it.

I agree with dakirbymaster, it sounds a lot like the headhunter. It probably shouldn't be too hard to implement, I mean all you have to do is make the mask move towards the boss when it is the right (or random) time, and make the mask have an effect on a collision with the boss.
