This article obviously proves that the Force exists.

Discuss.

Well let me be honest:
I don't care about religion, the meaning of life, the meaning of the universe or whatever...I'm gonna die so I don't care.
If we are meant bo here then I don't know what to say...Mission complete? o_0
Yea, I'm too ignorant to find the meaning in all that text. Sorry xD

No, it doesn't. It just states some theories.

The problem with this argument is, let's say they are infinite 'multi-verses'. Therefore, with infinite possibilities, statistically is it not VERY likely that at least one of them will have our laws of physics for existance.

Just because we live in the universe created by that possibility DOES NOT mean proof of God.

I was kidding.

Anyway, what I would like to know is if life is the way it is because of how the universe is, or that it requires the universe to be this way.

Oh, I didn't see all the big Next's XD

Maybe this does support the ancient phrase, "I reject your reality and substitute my own." XD
Anyway, Quantum physics get's really confusing at times, especially when you are tired. It even stumped einstein many times, and he was proven wrong over it several times.

Maybe because it's nearly at the limits of human intellect?

what? Religion related to the universe? WTF!?
I can't say anything about the universe until I study more about it and come out with my own explanation for such things, but I can't say that what the articles says it's a lie or truth because I'm not an expert on this matter.

Ahh, I already thought so, but wasn't sure.

The theory of the multi-verses is nice, but it had to be started sometime, doesn't it? It still doesn't explain where everything comes from.

Yeah, I guess they're still working on that. :P

That's just as bad as the Christians, you don't know. I can't conclude where the universe came from, I can only conclude from where it did not.

*Raises hand
I think that God IS the universe, and we are all just tiny little specs of God, like cells in a body. So, I think that the universe (God) can modify itself to support life, or obliterate it.

Or maybe existance is a dream in someones mind, and we are all just aspects of his split-personalities.

The problem with asking what created the universe is that you'll have to ask what created whatever created the universe, and what created that, and what was it's creator's creator?  It's impossible to explain an endless line of creators creating things with nothing but more creators at the beginning which actually doesn't exist because there is no beginning to the cycle, yet people still try to do it for some reason.  Perhaps outside of what we currently understand to be possible there could be an infinite cycle of creation with no beginning, but that idea seems just as absurd if not more than saying there has to be a point at which one of the creators just existed with nothing to make them so.  Of course if it seems absurd, it's because of the way we humans understand things to be, it may not even be possible to explain the origins of existence with the limited scope of human intellect.

That's interesting, but I don't know whether it's true or not.

"I think, therefore I am"? Aren't we all Azathoth's (spelling?) dream in the Cthulhu mythos? I don't think that's true.

Yeah. Wouldn't it be awesome if Cthulhu exists? If he did, I would get to be just as crazy as the Christians, but I will worship a MUCH cooler deity. <3
