I never knew you could do that. That would help soooo much for making things like teleporters and stuff, no more heaps of different ones for every area.

Old. I saw this ages ago. Most of us know it anyway.
-
I didn't know that.
What helps most is the instance creation code. EDIT: But it's not something absolutely necessary, there are other ways to do it.
-
I've known about this forever, but it's no less useful. Particularly for creating hundreds of signs but only needing one object.
-
well 2/4 so far didn't know... that's quite a lot :P .
-
hey that's cool I didn't know about that, I'll probably start using it.
-
I also knew about that.
-
Yeah I knew about that too.
-
I thought everybody knew about that? >_>

True, but for things like I just use a script.
Also I could use a script for one object and use this to have a different sprite and mask for the object...the same object but with a different look...only i understand what I'm saying xD
Yes this is old, still is good that you posted so people who didn't know will know about it.
-
huh..so thats how you change rooms with only one object..
-
I didn't know about this until I saw a topic about it a month or two ago. It is incredibly useful though. I was always doing that stuff in the room creation code by creating the instances there and setting values to them. This should be out there more.
-
I agree. That's why I made this topic XD.
-
Wow! I didn't know this! This is actually really useful.
-
I knew that, but from the manual. I thought everyone reads the manual?
-
I read it, but not thoroughly...
I mean, it's quite big for you to read it word by word, isn't it?
